Residents are calling for increased safety measures after a truck reportedly left the roadway and crashed while driving over train tracks near the intersection of Kennesaw Avenue and Church Street Friday morning.
Just before 10 a.m., resident Melissa Korczyk was walking with her toddler and dog on the North Loop Bridge over North Marietta Parkway when she heard tires screeching.
“I look and there’s a car coming down Kennesaw Avenue toward Church Street, fast,” she said. “…They hit the train tracks and went airborne.”…
