After nearly five months of investigation, charges against a Cobb County man accused of trying to kidnap a toddler at a north Cobb Walmart were dropped by prosecutors.
Mahendra Patel, 56, was arrested in March after Cobb resident Caroline Miller accused him of trying to kidnap her child at the Walmart on Cobb Parkway. Patel was arrested three days later by Acworth Police, who claimed he had “fled” the scene…
