ATLANTA, Ga. — It was a moment decades in the making and nothing short of heartwarming.
Calvin Cooper, 71, flew into Georgia from Toledo to meet his son. A son he never knew existed.
Tim Holloway, 33, who lives in Atlanta, had uploaded his DNA to Ancestry.com. Cooper had done the same at a different time. When the results came back, the two were identified as a father-son match, a connection later confirmed.
“I put my name in there on Dec. 5, on his birthday, imagine that,” Cooper said. “A whole grown man, 33 years that I brought into this world and didn’t even know.”…
