John Douglas Herren, 53, of Dallas, is accused of trafficking fentanyl on Dec. 13 at 10:33 p.m. at the intersection of South Cobb Drive and Mill Pond Road in Smyrna, according to an arrest warrant from the Smyrna Police Department.
Herren was operating a silver 2006 model Nissan 350z without a white light illuminating the rear registration plate making it visible from a distance of 50 feet.
Herren had installed two dim red bulbs in place of the factory white bulbs for the tag lights. Not only were the lights the wrong color as they were required to be, but gave little illumination to the tag where it was unable to be clearly read from less than 30 feet away, according to the warrant…
