DeKalb County commissioner calls for removal of tactical ICE operations following MN shooting

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Some officials in DeKalb County are calling for the removal of tactical U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in the area following the fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis.

“What I’m concerned about is that as things move forward, things will get worse, and I’m concerned for the safety of DeKalb County residents,” Commissioner Ted Terry said.

Terry said he plans to introduce a resolution next week that would formally condemn the shooting of Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis…
