Man dies in ICE custody at Georgia detention facility

ATLANTA, Ga. — A man who was in ICE custody in Clayton County has died, according to Atlanta’s Mexican Consulate.

The man, identified by a verified GoFundMe as Heber Sánchez, died at Robert A. Deyton Detention Facility in Lovejoy on Wednesday. His cause of death is currently unclear.
