Anthony Quinn Banta, 29, and Syvanna Bennet, 29, both of Marietta, are accused of drug trafficking on Jan. 10 at 5:09 p.m., according to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Police Department.
The pair were observed driving a black Toyota Camry southbound on Franklin Gateway, just past the intersection of South Marietta Parkway. The vehicle had a dark window tint, later determined to be 16% on the front driver’s side window. The pair advised police that marijuana was in their apartment at Marketplace Village Apartments, 1486 Terrell Mill Road. Marietta, according to the warrants.
A search warrant was obtained and the following items were seized: 92 grams of marijuana, four different amphetamines, seven pills of alprazolam, one mushroom bar containing psilocybin, 3.5 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of THC gummies and 56 grams of THC wax.
