Ian Mungai, 28, of Marietta, is accused of walking behind the register at the RaceTrac at 2337 Canton Road in Marietta, and stealing products off the wall on Jan. 14 at 9:10 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Mungai showed a RaceTrac employee what she believed to be a knife and told her to “Shut up” before leaving the store with the stolen products, according to the warrant.
Mungai is charged with theft by shoplifting – less than $500; and robbery fear. He was arrested on Jan. 15 at 12:09 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
