ATLANTA — The City Council of Atlanta passed a resolution urging the Atlanta mayor to adopt the full priority recommendation list of the Edgewood Corridor Public Safety Task Force.
The resolution, which passed in an unanimous vote, also urges Mayor Andre Dickens to consider implementing supplemental recommendations of the Edgewood Corridor Public Safety Task Force.
The Edgewood Corridor represents one of the city’s most significant historical and cultural neighborhoods as an epicenter of the Civil Rights movement and birthplace of Atlanta’s Black middle class.
