As high school students across the state plan a walkout in protest of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Friday, Cobb’s two school districts are taking seemingly different approaches.
The Cobb County School District is warning it will suspend students who participate and disrupt the school day, while Marietta City Schools has met with students to discuss alternative forms of civic engagement.
