Kevaughn Hyatt, 24, of Marietta, is accused of possessing a 9mm Taurus G3C pistol in his left front jacket pocket while stealing items from the Family Dollar, 567 Cobb Parkway N., Marietta, on Jan. 28 at 6:15 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.
Hyatt is accused of taking frozen chicken strips and frozen french fries. When confronted by the manager and another employee standing behind her, Hyatt stated “Do you want to see my gun” before walking out of the store, according to the warrant.
Hyatt is charged with possession of firearm during the commission of theft from a building or of a vehicle; and robbery intimidation. He was arrested on Jan. 28 at 6:40 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
