A Georgia father stands accused of torturing his 5-year-old son with beatings for months, which eventually led to the little boy’s death. 31-year-old Michael Horn has been charged with aggravated assault and five counts of child cruelty, while his girlfriend, Alexiss Eitrem, also 31, faces five counts of child cruelty.
According to a Facebook post from the Marietta Police Department, officers found an unresponsive child at an address in the 400 block of Ramona Street on Sunday after receiving a 911 call. Despite being rushed to the hospital and later Life Flighted to another, the boy died on Wednesday.
