Meth trafficking charges filed after Kennesaw traffic stop

Jennifer Erin Rich, 47, of Covington, and Bryan Caleb Owen, 57, of Monticello, are accused of trafficking approximately 2,300 grams of methamphetamine on Feb. 11 at 10 p.m. at the intersection of I-75 and Wade Green Road in Kennesaw, according to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.

Rich was operating a black 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche on Wade Green Road heading toward I-75 when she failed to use the left turn signal before switching into the far left lane to get on to the I-75 South on ramp. After the traffic stop, a probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle and the methamphetamine was found inside, according to the warrants.

Rich is charged with driving – improper lane change/no signal; and trafficking methamphetamine. Owen is charged with trafficking methamphetamine. Both were arrested on Feb. 11 at 10 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
