Quontavious Jones, 23, of Marietta, is accused of burglarizing St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Feb. 24, at 9:30 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.
Jones was seen on camera entering the church and roaming the interior. He was seen on camera attempting to break open a church offering box in two separate spots where money was placed. Jones was also at the property on Feb. 14 at approximately 6:12 p.m. wearing the same sweatshirt used during the burglary and had what looks like the same hair style and same facial hair. Jones admitted to it being him with his girlfriend at the church on Feb. 14, according to the warrant.
Jones is charged with burglary – second degree; and criminal damage – second degree. He was arrested on Feb. 26 at 1:45 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
