VILLA RICA, Ga. — Attorneys representing the family of a middle schooler who died after a fight at a bus stop in Douglas County said they are calling for accountability from the school and state following the tragedy.
Attorney Harry Daniels said the parents of 12-year-old Jada West received a phone call on March 5 regarding their daughter.
Jada was identified as one of the girls in a viral video that shows two girls fighting. Days later, social media posts began circulating, indicating that a Mason Creek Middle School student was initially hospitalized after an altercation while she was getting off a bus. She later died. Her cause of death has not been released at this time…
