Former Amazon Contractor Convicted in Multimillion-Dollar Fraud Scheme in Metro Atlanta

A former Amazon delivery contractor has been convicted in a wide-ranging fraud scheme that diverted millions of dollars from the company into personal accounts, funding luxury vehicles and real estate in metro Atlanta.

A federal jury found Brittany Hudson guilty on 30 counts, including conspiracy, wire fraud, money laundering and forgery. The case stems from a scheme that began in 2022 and involved multiple individuals. Hudson was one of seven people charged in connection with the operation.

According to court records, Hudson owned Legend Express LLC, a company contracted by Amazon to deliver packages. Authorities said the scheme relied on insider access, as Hudson’s partner, Kayricka Wortham, worked at an Amazon warehouse in Smyrna and had authority to approve vendor payments…
