Four people charged after police seize 44 pounds of meth during drug raids in Georgia

GEORGIA β€” Four men are facing federal charges following a series of drug trafficking raids that led to the seizure of 44 pounds of methamphetamine in metro Atlanta, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Authorities said law enforcement officers recovered approximately 44 pounds of meth and two firearms during operations in Douglasville and Fayetteville this week.

Investigators allege that Pablo Soria-Porras and Eduardo Benitez-Jacinto sold two pounds of methamphetamine to an undercover DEA agent in Lithia Springs on Feb. 25.
