Pair accused of trafficking meth in Marietta

Juan David Liera, 28, and Joselin Aguilar Barajas, 24, both of Marietta, are accused of trafficking methamphetamine on March 17, according to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Police Department.

Liera is accused of driving a white 2013 Kia Soul with an Alabama tag west on Roswell Street at Fairground Street on March 17 at 3:07 p.m. He then turned left onto Fairground and immediately went into the second straight lane of travel instead of turning into the first, which was clear.

Liera was found to be in possession of 4.44 pounds of methamphetamine, located in the back passenger seat floor board. The meth was inside a plastic grocery bag, which contained two large gallon-sized Ziplock bags, according to his warrant…
