When Catalina Cucina opens in mid-April, downtown Woodstock’s newest Italian restaurant will be just the latest chapter in a family story that began almost 18 years ago.
With her family’s five 7 Tequilas restaurants thriving in Canton, Holly Springs, Johns Creek, Cumming and Marietta, plus a bistro in Mexico, Tracy Garcia says the enterprise her father started is ready for new horizons. She thinks chef Daniel De Dios’s 20-plus years cooking Italian will make Catalina Cucina a Cherokee County favorite.
“Daniel can cook Italian foods from every part of Italy, and we’ll offer seasonal menus that change four times a year,” Garcia said. “Everything from our kitchen and at the bar will be made fresh in house from scratch.”…
