In a 3-2 vote Monday, the Kennesaw City Council approved a $46.77 million slate of projects tied to a proposed countywide sales tax renewal.
The Kennesaw project list for a voter-approved countywide 1% sales tax, called the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST), passed 3-2 with council members Jon Bothers and Antonio Jones opposed.
