Trial date set for man accused of deadly Midtown Atlanta medical building shooting

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The man accused of carrying out a deadly shooting at a Midtown Atlanta medical building in 2023 has been deemed competent to stand trial.

Deion Patterson’s trial is set to begin on June 1, according to a Fulton County Superior Court spokesperson. He faces a number of charges, including murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and second-degree criminal damage to property.
