White Castle—a 105-year-old Ohio-based chain known for selling burgers “by the sack”—has announced plans to open its first-ever Texas location at Grandscape in The Colony.
On June 2, White Castle will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the location at 4520 Destination Drive— complete with spatula shovels and a ceremonial “sprinkling of the onions” on the future grill site. The brand’s famous sliders will be served once the digging is finished.
The groundbreaking will feature remarks by White Castle leadership—including fourth-generation members of the brand’s founding family—along with appearances by elected officials, development partners, and local “cravers” of White Castle’s offerings…
