HUNT COUNTY, Texas — One person died in an early morning shooting in Hunt County Wednesday, the sheriff’s office confirmed.
In a news release, the department said around 3:22 a.m., it received a report of a shooting victim at the intersection of State Highway 276 and County Road 3609.
When a deputy arrived on scene, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound and another person with unspecified injuries. HCSO said the deputy provided life-saving measures until paramedics arrived, but the victim was later pronounced dead at the scene…
