La Rue Doughnuts is headed to Frisco with crullers, brioche and a growing cult following. The well-known Dallas pastry shop is expanding north to a growing corner of the region’s food scene.
According to Culture Map Dallas, the shop is planned for 4747 4th Army Dr. in Frisco, inside a small strip center off Lebanon Road between Legacy Ranch and West Side Market. The space previously housed Mava’s Kitchen, and current plans point to an early summer opening.
Expanding From Dallas
La Rue Doughnuts has built its reputation in the Dallas area through a chef-driven approach to doughnuts and viennoiserie-style baking. The Frisco location marks another step in its growth after launching its standalone concept at Trinity Groves in West Dallas in 2024.
Owners Amy and Casey La Rue originally developed the idea as part of their award-winning restaurant Carte Blanche, which operated as a daytime bakery known for pastries, croissants and doughnuts before transitioning out of that format.
