Grab Your Lederhosen: McKinney Oktoberfest Returns This September

Break out the lederhosen, stretch those brat-eating muscles and get ready to hoist a stein McKinney Oktoberfest returns to downtown McKinney Sept. 25–27, bringing one of the city’s annual fall traditions back to the historic downtown district.

The festival is free to attend and will feature German music, dancing, traditional costumes, food and drinks, children’s activities and a lineup of events ranging from dachshund races to a beer stein-holding competition.

Oktoberfest takes place at Downtown McKinney, 111 N. Tennessee St. Festival hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
