A woman reported Tuesday that a business with a confusingly similar name to a local moving company scammed her, according to a Denton police report.
At about 9:22 p.m., Denton police took a fraud report over the phone from a woman who lives in Southeast Denton. The caller said she looked up a moving company that could move her out of state and reached out to the company on Jan. 27.
