The City of Carrollton has officially filled its Assistant City Manager slot with the appointment of Shannon Hicks, following a comprehensive nationwide search. Slated to begin on August 26, Hicks fills the post left vacant by Marc Guy, who retired in June after an impressive 38-year career with the city. Hicks joins an executive team that supervises various city departments, including Development Services, Economic Development, Engineering, and several others, according to the City of Carrollton.
