EASTLAND, Texas – A 30-year-old woman from Mesquite, Texas, died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 20, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Rachel Alice Rue was driving a 2016 Mazda 3 Sedan westbound on I-20 at the 338-mile marker when she attempted to pass another motorist and return to the right lane. The vehicle continued to steer north, exiting the roadway and entering a ditch where it struck several trees, according to the Texas Highway Patrol.
