EASTLAND COUNTY, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) — A 30-year-old woman has died in a single-vehicle crash on I-20 Saturday morning.
At 7:03 a.m. on August 10, crews responded to mile marker 338 on I-20, southwest of Eastland. Initial investigations indicate that a sedan was traveling west on I-20. The driver passed another motorist and attempted to return to the right lane but instead continued steering north, exiting the roadway and entering a ditch, where the vehicle struck several trees.
The 30-year-old driver, Rachel Alice Rue from Mesquite, Texas, was transported to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
