The Denton Police Department has apprehended a 21-year-old man in connection with two armed robberies that sent ripples of concern through the community last week. Last Thursday afternoon, Justin Richards was taken into custody, facing charges for a pair of thefts that unfolded in the 1700 block of Bernard Street and the 700 block of Acme Street. The arrest, credited to the Dogged detective work on the part of the Denton PD, followed a thorough canvas of the crime scenes and meticulous gathering of evidence by the officers.
