HOWE, Texas (KXII) – School starts back up on Tuesday and city employees have a busy week ahead. “We got a message from TXDOT that they were going to do the construction and place new all-way stops on both sides of FM 902 bridge on the 13th, which happened to fall on the first day of school,” said the city administrator, Monte Walker. Across Howe Highschool, Walker said it’s been a long time coming. “We did ask for a study of that intersection on the east side of the bridge because there’s been multiple accidents over the years there in one recent one.”
