The City of Lewisville is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to art in public spaces. They’ve pulled in Massachusetts-based artist Michele Gutlove, the creative force behind Studio GH, to drop a statement piece right into the heart of the Lewisville Public Library. Gutlove, rising above a pool of over 200 applicants, brings more than two decades of experience and a hefty portfolio with over 50 commissions that brighten up spaces across the U.S. and beyond. She does magic with handmade glass, playing with light in ways that grab your eye and won’t let go. The City of Lewisville details that Gutlove’s project, aptly dubbed ‘Luminous,’ will be a beacon of artistry in the library’s atrium.
