As some may have noticed coming up School Road, the farmhouse has been torn down at the bottom of the hill. Many may have wondered what the plan for this newly empty lot is. Since Blue Ridge now owns the land, they plan to turn it into a new softball field for our Lady Raiders softball team. According to Athletics Director, Nickolas Swaha, the softball field does not have a set construction date but it will hopefully be done before the spring season. This means that this year’s junior high, junior varsity, and varsity softball fields will hopefully be able to practice for this upcoming season. The field is less than a minute from the school building making their travels way more convenient.
