DENTON, Texas – A 79-year-old using a motorized mobility scooter was fatally hit while operating the scooter in a roadway, police said. Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian crash around 8:26 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 on East McKinney Avenue in front of Mack Park, according to a press release from Denton police.
