Coppell unites in honor and remembrance of Sept. 11 victims

The city of Coppell gathered Wednesday at Coppell City Hall in remembrance of the lives lost in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. On that fateful morning, nearly 3,000 people lost their lives as two planes struck the north and south towers. Coppell Fire Chief Kevin Richardson noted that 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, 33 flight personnel and eight EMS workers answered the call not knowing the dangers ahead of them.
