Denton police arrested an intoxicated 25-year-old man after he nearly caused a collision driving at excessive speeds to evade officers, according to a police report.
At about 2:35 a.m. Sunday, officers were patrolling in the 100 block of Avenue A. Officers allegedly saw a vehicle driving 7 mph over the speed limit, failing to properly signal a turn onto Scripture Street and weaving.
