Collin County, Texas – Texas Health Resources recently acquired a sizable piece of land in Celina, Collin County, in a strategic move meant to increase its footprint inside the fast-expanding North Texas area. The purchase covers 21 acres near the Collin County Outer Loop and the sought-after northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway. Collin County deed records show that this transaction was completed on October 23 and Tollway Celina 45 Partners was the seller.
Based in Arlington, Texas Health Resources is a well-known faith-based nonprofit health system serving over 7 million people throughout 16 counties. Although specific plans for the recently acquired site are yet unknown, the company suggests the building of medical facilities is to serve the growing local population.
“We routinely purchase land as a normal course of doing business in the North Texas area,” said spokesperson Kimberly Walton. “Communities north of the Metroplex continue to see strong population growth, and as a health care market leader in the region, Texas Health’s goal is to grow with our community.”
