CORINTH, Texas – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has launched the #EndTheStreakTX campaign to address the ongoing issue of daily traffic fatalities in the state. Since November 7, 2000, Texas has experienced at least one traffic-related death every day, a streak the campaign aims to end.The Corinth Police Department is actively participating in this initiative by enforcing traffic laws along the I-35E corridor and FM 2181 to reduce dangerous driving behaviors that lead to fatal accidents. “This goal is big, but it’s possible,” stated the department. The campaign emphasizes the importance of every driver contributing to road safety to achieve this ambitious goal.
