As a severe winter storm aims at Garland, city officials have announced today’s sweeping closures and service adjustments. According to the City of Garland statement, all offices, including utility customer service and tax offices, recreation centers, the Carver Senior Center, and libraries, will be shut down due to the threatening weather conditions. The closure encompasses key facilities such as City Hall, the Jones Municipal Building, Municipal Court, Carver 3, and Fire Administration buildings. However, fire stations and the Garland Police Headquarters will remain open and operational.
