$151 million TXDOT project underway, a part of U.S. HWY-75 expansion

SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) – The U.S. Highway 75 expansion project has been underway since 2014, widening lanes, repairing frontage roads, and leveling dangerous curves from the Collin county line towards the Red River.

Paris District Engineer, Noel Paramanantham, says the newest project began last month, but the entire expansion can be broken into six segments.

The first segment goes from the Collin county line to FM 902,” Paramanantham said. “The second segment goes from FM 902 to 1417. The third segment is from 1417 to Texoma Parkway. The 4th segment is from Texoma Parkway to 82. The 5th segment is from 82 to Loy Lake in Sherman to Loy Lake in Denison and then the 6th segment would be from Loy Lake in Denison to FM 120.”…
