BELLS, Texas (KXII) – On Friday, 32-year-old Tyler Werner from McKinney was arrested in Bells after fleeing from police and climbing into a tree.
“Hiding in a tree is not something that people normally do when they’re running from law enforcement,” Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Jeremy Cox said. “This person went to extreme lengths to try to avoid law enforcement and yet we still found them.”
It started as a simple trespassing call from a house in Bells, the homeowners thought Werner may have been casing their property…
