Texas is enjoying spring, and all of the lovely outdoor recreation that is available due to the ample state and national parks, and part of living our best lives outdoors is sharing that joy and experience with our furry, four legged friends. It really is impossible not to see all of the new life that comes with the end of winter as the skies clear because we become surrounded by our glorious wildflowers, especially those Texas bluebonnets.
With the increased time spent outdoors, and with the warmth of the Sun more readily available to enjoy, Texas Parks and Wildlife remind us that we need to be very diligent to the presence of other animals that are also enjoying the spring weather, and can be a huge risk to our smallest family…..
