One Kohl’s In Texas Closing Permanently Very Soon

Texas has many shopping options available to those in the state. But not all of them are going to be successful. For Kohl’s, recent sales numbers haven’t been the best, and some stores will no longer be serving customers.

What Did The Sales Numbers Recently Look Like For Kohl’s?

According to the Austin American-Statesman, the fourth quarter for the company was not good. Overall, Kohl’s dealt with a 9.4% download trend in sales. The company also suffered a 7.2% loss in sales for the year as a whole.

Because of this, stores that were considered to be “underperforming” would shuttered forever. As revealed by the Austin American-Statesman, the current amount of store Kohl’s has is 1,147, with 90 in Texas. But 27 are set to go away.

Are Any Of The 90 Kohl’s In Texas Closing For Good?

Sadly, one Kohl’s in the Lone Star State will no longer be in business. As reported by the Statesman, the singular Kohl’s being closed will be in North Dallas. Located at 18224 Preston Road, the store will no longer be in business following the date of March 29th, 2025.

With only one store closing in the state, Texas isn’t as harmed as others across the nation. California has 10 of the 27 closing down forever in their state. In addition, San Bernardino, California is also losing an e-commerce fulfillment center for the company, which had been open since 2010…
