A Texas food delivery driver is recovering after he was attacked outside a restaurant — by a man he offered to help.
According to reports from local affiliate station Fox 4 and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram , 28-year-old Jackson Oltmanns had just finished delivering food for DoorDash in south Fort Worth at around 2 a.m. local time on March 31.
Oltmanns was in a parking lot of a Waffle House on West Rendon Crowley Road, and was preparing to go inside, when a man — identified by the outlets as 24-year-old Quindarius Cartwright — allegedly approached him and asked for money…
