On January 31, Deputy Altemus urgently tended to a 31-year-old man who was found unresponsive and not breathing due to a suspected overdose. A social media post from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office recounted how the deputy promptly administered Narcan and started CPR, successfully reviving the individual.
