Officials from the Denton Police Department, city staff and local business leaders met on April 17 to discuss public concerns at the Downtown Denton Safety Meeting.
The meeting was organized by Denton Community Services to connect downtown stakeholders with police and city staff to share updates, gather feedback and explore current strategies to maintain a safe and welcoming downtown environment. The meeting focused on issues related to homelessness and the role of the city’s ambassador program.
