Alarming ICE Threat Leads to Arrest

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has arrested Robert King, a McKinney, Texas resident, for making violent threats on social media against federal officials. King is accused of targeting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem in his posts. HSI Dallas officials later described King’s statements as “alarming.” Officials confirmed that the arrest involved support from the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and McKinney Police. HSI Dallas wrote, “King’s alarming social media posts included intentions to ‘open fire’ if agents are seen in his neighborhood.”

Authorities reported that King threatened to “open fire” on ICE agents seen near his neighborhood and referred to Secretary Noem as a “Nazi” in one of his online posts.

King previously wrote, “Shoot at ICE agents on sight. That’s right. If ICE agents are trying to take you or a loved one, shoot them on sight.”…
