DALLAS — Saturday’s local elections saw low turnout, as is typical for May municipal elections. It could also be the last time Texas voters head to the polls in May if a bill proposed to move May elections to November comes to pass.
Dallas County saw 8.3% of its 1.4 million-plus registered voters cast ballots during the May election this year, compared to about 9% in the May 2023 elections.
