GLADEWATER, Texas (KLTV) – Plano boy scout Troop 259 descended upon Lake Gladewater Saturday for a mix of fun, training, and education.
According to Clint Osteen, Charter Organization Representative for Troop 259 Plano boy scouts, what started as a one-off invite has become an important and fun tradition.
“I grew up playing on this lake and I was involved in scouts,” said Osteen. “When my boys got involved in scouts, we invited the whole troop to come down here and enjoy the lake because we had just gotten this place. And so it’s just turned into a tradition, and we bring them every year.”…
