LOUISVILLE, Ken. (KLTV) – Former Van Lady Vandal Skylar Savage and former Crockett Lady Bulldog Cierra Simon were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region teams on Thursday.
The East Texans were part of three selections that marked a new North Texas softball program record.
Simon, a senior, picked up her second postseason honor of the season after being named first team all-conference on May 6. Simon ends her Mean Green career as the program leader in runs scored (134), triples (12) and stolen bases (69), while holding top 10 marks in batting average, games played, hits, RBI, total bases, sacrifice flies, defensive assists and double plays turned…
